SyncMailz privacy policy

Updated September 10, 2026. This policy describes SyncMailz, operated by Serdar Ozdek, and its local mailbox application.

Access and use

With your consent, SyncMailz accesses account identity, message metadata, message bodies, attachments and mail organization data. It uses this information to display, search and synchronize your mail, manage read status and folders, and compose and send messages you request. Google access uses Gmail authorization; Microsoft access uses Microsoft Graph authorization.

Storage

Account settings, message metadata and synchronization checkpoints are stored locally. Authorization and saved drafts use operating-system protected storage on the supported Windows runtime. Message bodies are cached transiently for reading; attachments are saved when requested. Provider mailbox copies remain with your email provider.

Sharing and agents

SyncMailz does not sell email data, use it for advertising, or use it to train generalized AI models. Mail operations communicate with your selected email provider. Sending shares the message with the recipients you choose. If you authorize an external agent to use the CLI, API or MCP, that agent can receive requested mailbox information and perform authorized operations; its own services and policies also apply.

Remote email images may contact their hosts and reveal your IP address and request timing. You can block remote images in settings; spam images are not loaded automatically. Following email links opens the destination website.

Your controls

You can disconnect accounts in SyncMailz and revoke authorization in your Google or Microsoft account settings. Disconnecting removes the local account, index, schedules and associated authorization; it does not delete your provider mailbox. Local drafts and exported attachments should be removed separately when no longer needed. Removing local files does not remove independent backups.

Website

These information pages do not collect mailbox content or use application analytics scripts. Cloudflare delivers the pages and may process ordinary network request information for delivery and security.

Google API data

SyncMailz's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
